Job Description
Follow work instructions to operate a casting machine and ensure parts are made to specification by measuring, testing, and communicating with the engineering team. A casting machine shapes and forms molten metal into various shapes and forms with the help of a die.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a casting machine according to work instructions.Ensure parts are made to specification by measuring and testing.Communicate with the engineering team regarding part specifications.Program and operate CNC machines, focusing on machining rather than lathes.Utilize solid modeling software to ensure all surfaces are geometrically correct.Perform CMM programming, inspection, and operation.Manage the casting process and operate axis CNC mills.CNC programming and operation experience.Proficiency in Mastercam and Solidworks.Experience with solid modeling software or equivalent.Knowledge of GD&T and CMM programming.Ability to perform CMM inspection and operation.Technical and mechanical aptitude.Strong computer skills.Basic math and spatial reasoning skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
World-class CNC machining operation with state-of-the-art equipment. The position operates on a 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, with a focus on completing the job effectively.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $51.20
