**CNC Programmer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to interpret technical drawings and set up CNC machines in accordance with blueprints. The ideal candidate will use computer software to model cutting paths, program machines, and ensure optimal production while maintaining quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Interpret technical drawings and set up CNC machines in accordance with blueprints. + Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines (using conversational programming methods M&G Codes, FANUC, MAZATROL). + Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality. + Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly. + Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise. + Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening. + Train new employees on proper operation of CNC machines and programs. + Operate and set-up CNC Lathes and/or Mills when programming is not required. **Qualifications** + 3 years of CNC machining and programming experience (Conversational). + Experience with set-up processes. + Proficiency with G&M Codes. + Experience with programming software (Fanuc, Mazatrol, G&M Code). + Experience with tow motors and overhead cranes. + Ability to make offset changes and tool changes. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including 401K with company matching contributions, twelve investment options, and loan capabilities. It includes large bolts, washers, nuts, and screws. The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Saturdays open based on workload. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Painesville, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
