This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and modify composite ply layouts, ensuring accurate production and quality control. Key Responsibilities: * Modify and create composite ply shapes and nesting layouts using specialized software for composite hardware. * Utilize CutWorks and Sigmanest software to efficiently nest plies based on product definitions. * Work closely with product owners, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, and technicians to troubleshoot and inspect ply nestings and related equipment. * Support composite manufacturing processes by ensuring accurate ply shape modifications and equipment settings. Qualifications: * Experience with computer-aided drafting/design (CAD) and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). * Strong background in composite manufacturing and production processes. * Hands-on experience with CNC programming and composite ply modification. Software Experience Desired: * Proficiency with NX CAD, CutWorks, and/or Sigmanest. * Experience with Fibersim and InspecVision is a plus.
