**Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. This role involves programming and understanding basic G&M codes. Training is available to learn MasterCAM for machine operations. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, dimensional data, surface locations, and interpreting GD&T. Your duties include determining the sequence of shaping operations, choosing correct tooling/inserts, validating programs using MasterCAM software, writing or modifying existing programs, and operating CNC milling or turning equipment. You will utilize micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. Additionally, you will set up mills or lathes by installing/adjusting jaws, vises, stops, and use overhead cranes to transfer stock. This position requires a good understanding of G code and experience in programming with MasterCAM. The role involves all aspects of a machining center, including programming, setup, machining, and producing the end part. Projects can range from 1-50 parts and involve 1-5 setups per day depending on size and quantity. The machine floor is very large due to the size of parts produced and the industries served.
