Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The role involves writing and optimizing CNC programs to create complex parts and components. You will be selecting appropriate tools, machines, and materials, testing programs, and collaborating with engineers and machinists to ensure project success. This position requires maintaining detailed records, staying updated with the latest software, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
ResponsibilitiesWrite and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts and components.Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each job.Test programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.Collaborate with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements and resolve issues related to machine setup and program performance.Maintain records and documentation for machine specifications and programming notes.Stay updated with the latest software and receive training on new equipment.Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations in the workplace.Essential SkillsProficiency in CNC programming.Experience with Mastercam, CNC mill, and CNC router.Ability to program on a computer and connect to CNC machines.Knowledge of machining and Cimatron.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Haas and Fanuc machines.Proficiency with Mastercam and Cimatron programming software.Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis mills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machining centers capable of handling complex parts, tools, models, molds, and patterns in various materials including composite, plastic, foam, wood media, titanium, aluminum, and other metals. We offer precision 3 and 5-axis CNC milling, part trimming and drilling, and rapid prototype development. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
