As our CNC Programmer– you will report to the Production Foreman. You will focus on developing and optimizing CNC programs for machining operations by interpreting engineering drawings, selecting tools, and collaborating with engineers to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. You will also conduct test runs, maintaining program documentation, troubleshooting issues, ensuring safety compliance, and providing operator training. On a given day, you may: Develop and improve CNC programs for milling, turning, routing and other machining operations. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances. Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feed for efficient machining. Collaborate with design engineers and machinists to improve manufacturability and reduce production costs. Conduct test runs and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts. Maintain CNC program libraries and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Provide training and support to machine operators. Other tasks as assigned by manager. Requirements for the role High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming within a manufacturing environment. Experience with machining processes, materials, and tooling. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
