The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Receives data in the form of concept sketches, blueprints, drawings, computer models and creates or translates to CNC language for waterjet and laser production machinery.
- Common configurations are complex solid models requiring 5 to 6 axis machining.
- Responsible for all aspects for designing, creating, debugging, and posting NC code used on a wide range of CNC machinery used to produce customer parts, tools, and fixtures.
- Creation and posting of NC code within budgeted/estimated time allotted.
- Design of NC code that allows for ease of use on the manufacturing floor.
- Effective system of storing and retrieval of NC programs within the company's computer network as well as the electronic transfer of NC code within the company and the company's customers / suppliers.
- Accurate creation of NC programs.
- Designing specialized tooling/fixtures to be used in the manufacturing operations.
- Creating drawings or computer models for use by the company, customers, or suppliers.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology or certificate competence in relevant disciplines and trades; plus four to ten years of relevant experience in CNC programming, etc.
- Must be US citizen.
- Proven ability to read, analyze, and understand drawings (blueprints), concept drawings, and electronic models.
- Visualize and understand three-dimensional images and translate into 5-axis motion.
- Ability to operate a wide range of CNC controllers and motion systems for the purpose of troubleshooting and validating CNC programs.
