**Job Title: CNC Punch Press Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced CNC Punch Press Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in using safety equipment, reading blueprints, operating powered hand tools, and executing specific jobs with precision. **Responsibilities** + Operate CNC Punch Press machines safely and efficiently. + Use appropriate safety equipment in a machining environment. + Charge time to specific work orders and manage payroll system paperwork. + Read and interpret blueprints accurately. + Operate powered hand tools safely. + Conduct overhead crane operations. + Maintain machines and work area. + Read and understand 'G' code programming. + Use sensitive measurement equipment. + Locate and transfer programs for specific jobs. + Load and position parts accurately for program execution. + Perform proper shimming of punch and dies as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Punch Press Operator. + Proficiency in using a protractor. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience in performing set-ups and editing programs. + Understanding of 'G' codes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Press Brake and CNC Turret Punch Press. + Knowledge of Amada Punch Press. + Skill in editing punch press and CNC brake press programs. + Ability to deburr punched parts. + Attention to detail and precision. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to work in a dynamic and challenging environment where your skills and experience will be valued and put to use. The facility is located in West Dallas. The standard working hours are from 5:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
