**Job Title: CNC Router Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to cut various materials, such as metal, plastic, and wood. The CNC Router Operator will be responsible for setting up the routing machine properly before starting work, reading blueprints as instructions for cutting, and operating the machine safely to produce high-quality precision parts and components.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, turning, and other machining operations.
+ Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper performance and quality output.
+ Interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Utilize knowledge of G-codes.
+ Use CAD Software, specifically Microvellum.
+ Inspect finished parts and components for quality and accuracy.
+ Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in operating CNC routers, milling machines, and lathes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with machine operation tools such as calipers and tape measures.
+ Familiarity with inspection processes to ensure quality output.
+ Knowledge of G-codes and CAD software, specifically Microvellum.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working with wood on a flat table.
+ Experience with SMC and Styles machines.
+ Ability to work with tolerances from a quarter to 1 inch.

**Work Environment**
1st shift, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. The work environment is very clean, not temperature-controlled but not extreme in temperature. Employees can wear shorts and a t-shirt.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Powder Springs, Georgia.
