Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Set-up Operator - 1st shift in Gardena, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a CNC Set-up Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSet up and operate CNC machines including Milling machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.\r\n\tRead and interpret blueprints to comprehend work orders.\r\n\tMonitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.\r\n\tInspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.\r\n\tPerform routine maintenance on machines as needed.\r\n\tUtilize CAD software for programming CNC machines.\r\n\tHandle materials and operate forklifts for material handling.\r\n\tUse calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication.\r\n\tUnderstand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles\r\n\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role\r\n\t2 years minimum experience\r\n\tProficiency in operating CNC machinery and logic controllers\r\n\tMachining, Milling, and Machine Operation skills\r\n\tExperience in performing Quality Control checks.\r\n\tKnowledge of CNC machinery and tooling\r\n\tAbility to read and interpret technical drawings.\r\n\tStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\r\n\tExperience with CAD/CAM software is a plus\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

\r\n\r\n
