**URGENTLY HIRING a CNC Machinist Set-Up Technician!** Pay: $30 - 40 **Shift:** 1st or 2nd **Location:** Butler, NJ **Job Description** The primary function of the CNC Machinist Set-Up Technician is to set up CNC machines for production in a productive, high-quality, and safe manner. The focus of the job is to ensure an acceptable first piece inspection by setting up the CNC machines efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Create and edit CNC Machine programs + Read and interpret engineering drawings + Layout all tooling and gages at CNC Machine for setup + Upload previous job program and download new job program to CNC Machine + Install all tooling into the CNC machine turret tool positions + Touch off tools and update programs with proper tool positions + Troubleshoot CNC machine problems as needed + Provide assistance and guidance to CNC Operators + Inspect parts using visual comparator, caliper, eye loop, appropriate gages, and instruments to ensure accurate, quality parts + Perform visual inspection of parts for burrs, chatters, chamfer irregularities, hexes, surface finish, etc., always confirming with engineering print and first part inspection sample + Follow all company safety and environmental policies and procedures + Change tools, make machine adjustments, and offsets as necessary **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with G code, Mastercam, and manual machining + Familiarity with Haas mill, Haas vertical, and screw machine + Proficiency in blueprint reading and set up machine + Experience in inspection and machine shop + Ability to handle several tasks at the same time under time constraints **Why Work Here?** The company is an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) and fully employee-owned, offering stock shares to its employees.
