**Job Title: CNC Setup Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator for a precision machining company in the medical industry. This position requires working with very small parts that demand tight tolerances, ranging from ±.003 overall to ±.0005. You will operate two types of Screw Machines: Star machines using Fanuc controls and Citizen machines using Mitsubishi controls. The programming software used on these CNC machines is Master Cam. The ideal candidate should have experience in CNC Setup, offset adjustments, and program editing/reading on CNC Screw Machines. While there is limited capacity to train new candidates, strong setup experience with CNC Lathes can translate well to CNC Screw Machines. **Primary Skills** + CNC Setup + Offset adjustments + Program editing/reading on CNC Screw Machines + Interpretation of part drawing and GD&T requirements + Inspection and gauging techniques using measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, comparators, plug and ring gauges) + Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on Star and Citizen CNC Screw machines + Understanding of tooling required for CNC processes + Blueprint reading + Tolerance and program understanding **Secondary Skills** + High level of precision and attention to detail + Mechanical ability and aptitude + Ability to perform work in a safe manner **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** The shop is very clean and climate controlled. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
