Job Title: CNC Setup Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. You will work from 4 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. Training will occur on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. A modified training schedule is available for candidates unable to train on the 1st shift. As a CNC Setup Operator, you will work with tight tolerances to produce high-quality dental equipment parts.

ResponsibilitiesWork within tight tolerance ranges with a high level of precision and attention to detail.Understand programming and make necessary adjustments at startup to produce nominal parts.Interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements.Utilize inspection and gaging techniques with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, plug, and ring gages.Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on Star and Citizen CNC Screw machines.Understand tooling required for the CNC processes.Complete setups, including loading programs, checking and positioning fixtures and cutting tools, and making offset programming adjustments.Read blueprints and understand tolerances and programs.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.At least one year of experience in set-up of CNC Swiss Screw Machines (Mill or Lathe set up will be considered).Knowledge of equipment operation routines, basic shop math, and precision measuring instruments (both manual and digital).Good mechanical aptitude, machine debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to stand and perform repetitive activities for sustained periods.Proficiency in using personal computers, including Windows-based applications.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control systems is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
