**URGENTLY HIRING a 2nd Shift CNC Supervisor for a leading MEdical Device company!**
**Job Description**
The primary function of the CNC Supervisor is to supervise set up and operation of cnc machines in a productive, high quality, and safe manner. You will troubleshoot and assist Machine Operators on shift and maintain a safe, clean work environment. This role is ideal for a driven, experienced CNC Machine Operator with goals to grow into a shift supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and load bars into CNC machines
+ Troubleshoot and assist Machine Operators on shift
+ Maintain safe, clean machines and work environment
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings
+ Ensure proper paperwork, tools, gages, and bar stock material are present
+ Inspect parts using various instruments to ensure quality
+ Perform visual inspection of parts for irregularities
+ Assign machines to operators based on skill level to optimize uptime
+ Assist operators with offset adjustments
+ Troubleshoot machines and bar feeders to maintain efficiency
+ Support the team with inspections to ensure high quality
+ Assist with operator training
+ Work with minimal supervision
+ Ensure smooth transition of job requirements from setup to operators and between shifts
+ Monitor and enforce operator performance by working alongside them
+ Be available for operator questions to ensure machines run smoothly
+ Verify accurate operator production reporting
+ Identify and report machine repair and maintenance issues
+ Monitor and enforce company quality, job requirements, and safety policies
+ Ensure operators are equipped with necessary tools
+ Maintain clean and safe working environment, including proper disposal of scrap material
+ Suggest process improvements and equipment purchases
+ Interact with other areas in the company to ensure timely workflow
+ Comply with and promote company quality and safety policies and strategic business objectives
+ Perform other assignments as needed
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working with CNC machines and metal part production
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
+ Knowledge of metrology equipment and their uses
+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
+ Fluent in English with the ability to communicate clearly
+ Advanced math skills (statistics, basic accounting)
+ Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
