Our client is seeking a highly experienced CNC Swiss Machinist with a proven track record in machining precision metal and plastic parts. Applicants must have at least 8+ years of experience in CNC Swiss machining.

Job Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Load raw materials, select appropriate tooling, and perform programming adjustments for CNC Swiss machines. Machine Operation: Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce parts meeting blueprint specifications and customer requirements. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality. Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure adherence to tolerances. Identify and correct any deviations from specifications. Optimization & Troubleshooting: Set up, optimize feeds and speeds, and troubleshoot machine operations for maximum efficiency. Control Systems: Work with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls to operate and program CNC Swiss machines. Programming: Independently program CNC Swiss machines as needed to meet production requirements.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 8 years of CNC Swiss machine operation experience is required. Experience with Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls is mandatory. Prior experience working with materials such as Inconel and A-286 is a plus. Background in manufacturing aerospace threaded components or other close-tolerance parts is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in setup, optimization of feeds and speeds, troubleshooting, and machine operation. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments and conducting thorough inspections. Demonstrated ability to select, set, and change tools effectively. Programming: Independent programming experience is advantageous but not required.
