Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setups on CNC Citizen Swiss Machines with automated bar feeders, handling the complete process including loading programs, making edits, tool changes, offsets, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work with G&M codes on Citizen Mitsubishi controllers for minor edits, utilize manual measurement tools, and work with various setup sheets, blueprints, and materials inspection gauging.
ResponsibilitiesSet up CNC Citizen Swiss Machines with automated bar feeders.Handle the complete process of setups, loading programs, making edits, tool changes, offsets, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Work with G&M codes on Citizen Mitsubishi controllers for minor edits.Use various setup sheets, blueprints, materials inspection gauging, and interpret geometric dimensions.Utilize manual measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Work with materials including carbon steel, aluminum, brass, mild steel, and plastic.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in Swiss machining and performing setups.Experience with tool changes, offsets, and program edits (G&M codes experience is a must).Experience with Citizen or Star Swiss machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Camworks.Ability to measure products in tenths.Familiarity with various setup sheets and blueprints.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a machine shop environment with various Swiss machines and mills. It is organized and clean, but not as sterile as a medical Swiss shop. The shop has about 60 employees and manufactures a variety of fluid power pumps. The machinist in this role will eventually learn how to set up the machine for each of the 15 different CAM options and 9 different shaft options that are machined for the pumps.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $72000.00
