Cnc Swiss Machinist
**CNC Swiss Machinist** _1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM M-Th_ **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist responsible for setups on CNC Citizen Swiss Machines with automated bar feeders. You will handle the complete process of setups, loading programs, making edits, tool changes, offsets, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You will work with G&M codes on Citizen Mitsubishi controllers for minor edits. No programming experience is needed on the floor, but we use Camworks. You will work with various setup sheets, blueprints, materials inspection gauging, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. You will utilize manual measurement tools (mics, cals, gauges) and work with materials such as carbon steel, aluminum, brass, mild steel, and plastic. **Responsibilities** + Set up CNC Citizen Swiss Machines with automated bar feeders. + Handle the complete process of setups, loading programs, making edits, tool changes, offsets, troubleshooting, and maintenance. + Work with G&M codes on Citizen Mitsubishi controllers for minor edits. + Utilize setup sheets, blueprints, and materials inspection gauging. + Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances. + Use manual measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges). + Work with materials including carbon steel, aluminum, brass, mild steel, and plastic. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience in Swiss machining and performing setups. + Experience with tool changes, offsets, and program edits (G&M experience is a must). + Citizen or Star Swiss experience. **Work Environment** This is a machine shop environment with various Swiss machines and mills. It is organized and clean but not as clean as a medical Swiss shop.
