This job exists to make high precision, close tolerance medical housings on CNC Swiss lathes. This is an entry-level position.

 

This is a 2nd shift position with hours of 3:15pm - 2:00am.

Pay range starts at $21.44 and can range up to $29.33 per hour depending upon experience.

Candidates can expect to start at a level 1 or 2 operator with room to grow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sets up and operates CNC Swiss machinesProduces medical housings, in a timely manner, in accordance with blueprints, sketches, and work orders, with close supervisionInspects and measures micro parts with general measuring devices, and makes machine offset adjustmentsPerforms setups, changeovers, and tool offsets on multiple CNC Swiss machines with close supervisionMaintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to our established quality and safety standardsPerforms visual and physical inspection of parts producedMake necessary adjustments to maintain nominal print dimensions and required surface finishesCompletes electronic and paper-based records with speed and accuracyMonitor machine performance, identify deviations, and make appropriate adjustments as neededAssist with maintenance and repair of equipmentPerform other related duties as assigned Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED requiredCertificate or diploma in machining a plusFamiliar with CI Improvement/Lean a plus

Experience:

Some work experience desiredSpecialized machinist training and/or certification a plusExperience with Swiss turning a plusFamiliarity with Tsugami Swiss lathes a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
