CNC Tube Bender Programmer / OperatorDIRECT HIRE! Marysville, MIPay Rate: $25-35/hr, based on experience levelHours: 6am - 3:30pm
QUALIFICATIONSMin 1 year experience of tube bending experience programming, setup & operating a CNC tube bender (company has Crippa brand) Successful completion of a background check and drug testHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical / vocational school diploma highly preferredSKILLSBlueprint readingContainer movement / routerSafety / lean manufacturing / continuous improvementJOB Summary/ObjectiveThe machine set-up tech ensure machinery is set up, works properly, and conforms with (and can produce materials that conform with) company quality, quantity, and efficiency standardsEssential Job FunctionsSets up and operates tools, machinery, and equipment according to instructions and specifications.Selects, places, and secures tools. Places and secures workpieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.Observes each machine to verify quality performance.Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines performance.Inspects tooling and repairs or replaces as needed.Determine whether machinery is working properly based on specifications for expectation such as fixtures, cutting speeds, or feed ratesReport issues / problems to immediate supervisorAct as department communicator during status meetings, management updates, and shift changes.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyEnsure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standardsIdentify, tag and remove non-conforming materialsAccurately complete all required paperwork in a timely mannerCommunicate with other departments as necessaryKeep work areas clean and organizedAdhere to all company rules and policiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisor PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job Regularly required to stand and walk for approximately 10 hours / day. The employee is occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch.Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 55 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
