Role:
Analyzes, designs, and develops computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Reviews system architecture and selects and implements appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Tests and debugs related software. Incumbents typically have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Responsibilities:Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.Works under consultative direction toward predetermining long-range targets.Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level.Active TS/SCI w/ polyMinimum of 5 years of software development in a low-level language such as CMinimum of 5 years of development in experience in an object-oriented or scripting language such as PythonExperience in cyber development tools is requiredDesired:Experience leading a cyber development team
