Job Description:
Job Summary:
Provide co-occurring disorder therapy to clients in the ACT-TAY program.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide co-occurring disorder therapy, individual and group to client in a community/home setting.
Providing cross training and education to other team members as needed.
Perform crisis intervention as needed
Attend daily staff meetings
On call/weekend shifts as needed
Complete the chemical health assessments with clients
Other special functions as deemed necessary by the team leader for client care
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledgeable with the distinctive ethics and standards of practice in the treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorder.
Experience and Education Qualifications:
QMHP (Masters level in psych or social work or related field).
CADC, CRADC, CRAADC (MO Credentialing Board)
Supervisory Requirements:
None.
Employment Requirements:
Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
Physical Requirements:
ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
