Plans, organizes, and implements clinical social work/ counseling services to consumers and families under the clinical supervision of a qualified supervisor. Plans for discharge and aftercare. Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people, and with community resources used for referral. Maintains treatment records. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the stages of change, a wellness and recovery model, and placement criteria as outlined in the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) patient placement guide.
Hours:
Full time, some evening hours required.
This is a 40 hour full time benefitted position which includes some evenings required:

Legacy’s mission is to change the behavioral health and social service outcomes for people of all ages from surviving to thriving.
The Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) and Community Integration program provides comprehensive services including evidence-based pharmacological treatment, supported employment and education services, individual and group psychotherapy, case management, family therapy, and recovery support in th community and clinical settings. This program services individuals ages 15-35 years of age and have an ESMI diagnosis.
MSW from an accredited school of social work or Masters Degree or doctorate in counseling with at least one year of experience required and actively working towards certification as a CADC or licensure as a LCADC based on requirements set forth by governing authority or, actively working towards another health professional license that includes work of an alcohol and drug counseling nature within its scope of practice. License required, if applicable
