Co-op, Corporate Environmental Compliance (Spring 2025)

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Reports to the General Manager - Corporate Environmental Compliance. The student co-op will be assigned to one of the Corporate Environmental Compliance department’s Program Managers/subject matter experts for environmental media-related programs.
These include, but are not limited to:
* Air quality compliance
* Spill prevention control and countermeasures (SPCC) and response, above and underground storage tanks (ASTs/USTs), site remediation
* Waste Management and stormwater compliance (SWPPP)
* Environmental management systems, compliance management and information systems
The student co-op will assist the Program Manager in developing, maintaining and implementing Delta’s media-related compliance programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and generally-accepted standards of good practice.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) for one semester each school year (i.e., Spring - 2025, Fall - 2025 and Summer - 2026), and the ideal candidate will be available for at least two years (3 rotations).
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Work experience is not required for this entry level position, but the successful applicant will be a sophomore or junior pursuing/majoring in (and excelling) a degree program in Environmental Management/Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study and interested in advancing career experience through on the job training.
