How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
+ Maintains up-to-date and deep understanding of worldwidethreat dynamics and trends, including those related to terrorism, civil unrest,violent crime, and narcotics smuggling.
+ Collects, assesses, and assists in writing anddisseminating intelligence analysis products for Delta stakeholders includingcommunications to crews, regular threat briefings, security assessments for newstation openings, and intelligence support for special events.
+ Uses understanding of worldwide security environment toprioritize, filter, and assess credibility of open-source intelligence reportsand sources.
+ Collects and manages intelligence data to feed intostation risk assessment program and other intelligence-based security riskassessment programs.
+ Supports the team by writing reports and othercommunication products and drives process improvements across the team’ssecurity programs.
+ Presents results of analysis and other products toManagement.
+ Conducts briefings/presentations as necessary.
+ Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operationalprocesses and procedures.
+ Supports liaison and engagement efforts with governmentpartners, industry counterparts, and private intelligence vendors.
+ Works on ad-hoc projects as assigned by manager.
+ Limited domestic and international travel possible.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Working as a Co-op does not guarantee a full-time opportunity upon graduation. This position is intended to provide you with educational, and professional work experience to prepare you for the workforce.
+ This position requires you to work for 2-3 alternating semesters. You cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op at the same time, which may delay your graduation by 1-2 semesters.
+ Rotations: Fall 2025, Summer 2026, Spring 2027
+ Strong writing skills are essential.
+ Should work well in a team environment and possess a highdegree of initiative and drive.
+ Must be currently pursuing a BA/BS degree inInternational Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, English,Journalism, History, Economics, Government, or related field.
+ Familiarity with US and international security policy.
+ Understanding of trends in worldwide securityenvironment, particularly regarding terrorism/counterterrorism and the aviationindustry.
+ Must have strong analytical skills as well as a highdegree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
+ Ability to manage several responsibilities at once withlittle supervision.
+ Ability to independently develop both internal andexternal networks.
+ Must seek challenging, analytical work and must possessthe ability to communicate detailed geopolitical analysis through oral andwritten means to all levels of management.
+ Familiarity with data collection tools and/or graphicdesign tools a plus.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to workin the United States.
