The Scale Up, Tech Transfer and Pilot Plant Team is a global platform team, responsible for scaling up and delivering innovation to consumers worldwide. As a Process Engineering Associate- Coop Student with the Scale Up team, you will get the opportunity to work with one of the market leaders in pain relief and collaborate with experts across the global organization. **What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?** + Work in a compliant manner to ensure the safety of yourself, others, and the protection of the environment + Perform hand-on manufacturing of lab and pilot scale solid, liquid or semisolid dosage product aligned to Design of Experiments study + Develop technical equipment and process troubleshooting capabilities. + Organize trials of small and large scale studies including raw material confirmations, batch documentation, and analytical test coordination. + Collaboration with cross-functional teams of quality, R&D, and commercial teams + Demonstrate excellence in the application and communication of statistical science in new product development. + Under minimum supervision, perform tasks necessary to create a common repository of manufacturing processes and analysis on analytical data. + Under the supervision of a senior staff, apply standard data science methods to solve analytical questions, including collecting data, analyzing data, and apply quantitative data science methods to predict product performance + Collaborate with Pilot Plant team, Statisticians, and/or data analysts to ensure accuracy to extracted data and modeling tools such as JMP and Statistica. + Use a QbD approach to substantiate trends and propose formulations for Voltaren line extension **To recognise your dedication, energy and effort, benefits include:** + A competitive salary commensurate with experience and training level. + Employee recognition through our global scheme which rewards exceptional achievements + On-the-job experience and formal and informal training and development, delivered through a mixture of coaching, mentoring and formal training programs + Health and wellbeing programs to take care of your physical and mental health **We’re the people changing the future of everyday health. So you will be someone who has:** + Creative and problem-solving thinking + Hands-on learner with strong troubleshooting abilities + Strategic/big-picture thinking + Entrepreneurial and agile mindset + Strong prioritisation and analytical skills + Personal accountability + Business and consumer/customer knowledge and understanding + A desire to learn and have meaningful impact + Good communication and presentation skills + Background in data management and analysis + Experience in scientific writing + Good organizational ability + Committed to delivering high quality results, overcoming challenges, focusing on what matters, execution. **To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:** **Education required:** + **Pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree** in Engineering (Chemical or Biomedical preferred), Chemistry, Statistics, Data Science or related fields + A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred **Other requirements:** + Ability to start in July 2025. + Candidate must be eligible to work on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) during the co-op duration (6 months). + Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting. + This role is onsite at our Richmond, VA location. + Strong experience on statistical software (Statistica, Minitab, or JMP software) would be preferred + Strong experience in data analysis and its interpretation. + Experience working with pilot scale OSD equipment such as tablet presses, blenders, coaters, etc. + Ideally, be a member in process engineering or data science organization at college level. + Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment.
