Co-op, Sales Development - Cargo Commercial (Summer 2025)

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Delta Cargo team is seeking one Co-op for the Commercial Sales Development team for a total of three full-time rotations based in Atlanta, GA (Summer 2025, Spring 2026 and Fall 2026).
**Overall function and role:** The Sales Development (SD) team is principally charged with aiding our Cargo Field Sellers with the analysis needed to enable their successful maintenance and growth of the Cargo business. SD also works closely with Revenue Management to provide the bid strategy needed for an advantageous outcome from our sales pipeline
+ Assist the Sales Development team with data analytics, revenue management coordination and reporting.
+ Provide process improvement support to assist with RFP volumes, customer inquiries, and Seller Assignment management.
+ Pull and review accounts from Tableau that are not utilizing our committed volumes under the belly of the plane well.
**Major Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Develop new reporting and help support adoption of new tools.
+ Lead competitive research and Other Airline (OA) analysis to ensure Delta Cargo leaders are aware of all global industry changes which could potentially impact the marketplace.
+ Responsible for performing various statistical and quantitative analyses.
+ Continually refine and enhance the report creation process using automation, VBA/Macro development, to reduce time spent on repeatable tasks.
+ Responsible for creating PowerPoint presentations used in network and industry presentations.
+ Assist with report design and modification using various BI Tools (Hyperion Intelligence, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Microsoft, etc.).
+ Load business opportunities for hunting in Salesforce.
+ Assist with various requests from other division stakeholders.
+ Assist with account revenue forecasting and performance analysis.
**About Delta Cargo**
As much as Delta Air Lines helps passengers
reach their destinations, the Cargo division serves companies in the safe and
efficient transport of a wide range of freight, including everything from mail
to live animals and life-saving pharmaceuticals.
Different departments in the Cargo division
provide rate information, sell cargo space in the belly of Delta’s passenger
aircraft, track & trace freight and resolve customer problems.
Additionally, they safely move cargo from a warehouse location to airport ramp
areas and ensure proper delivery onto the appropriate aircraft.

team includes Global Sales, Product, Marketing/Communications, Sales
Development, and Market Performance
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta,GA office for the duration of the Co-op.
+ This position requires the student to work for 2-3 alternating semesters. Student cannot actively take any courses (inclusive of online or in-person) and work as a Co-op/Intern at the same time, which may delay graduation by 1-2 semesters.
+ Must be available to work on a full-timebasis during 3 alternating semesters: **Summer 2025, Spring 2026 and Fall 2026.**
+ At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
+ Must be enrolled as a full-time studentpursuing an undergraduate degree in a 4-year academic institution.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong organizational, project management, analytic/problem-solving skills, and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
+ Candidate is team-oriented and highly supportive of continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required.
