The Cell Test Team at Symbotic is looking for a Co-op student to help accelerate automated testing of industrial controls hardware.
What you’ll do
Design and build a solution for testing a Input/Output blocks with configurable ports, input, output, and IOLink.
Write procedures on utilizing I/O block test solution.
Document and store all design work and procedures.
Assist/support the Cell test team when performing test procedures.
What you’ll need
Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Instrumentation background.
Experience with Arduino or Raspberry Pi is required
Experience with PLC is required. Rockwell preferred.
Experience programming IOLink or other industrial communication protocols desired.
Basic understanding of software testing practices
Enjoys learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as well as teaching them to others
Effectively communicate ideas, verbal and written
Strong decision-making skills
Our Environment
Some physical tasks, such as light maintenance or equipment handling, may be required.
Up to 10% travel may be necessary.
