Position Requirements:

A student in this position would work closely with members of the Production team in order to improve processes and material flow within a manufacturing environment. Activities will include, interfacing with the ERP system to align product structures to manufacturing processes, finding and implementing improvements to those manufacturing processes, and utilizing Lean problem solving tools to increase efficiencies within the business. This will be a hands on position with the opportunity to learn and utilize critical thinking skills, Lean tools, and implementation of 5S principles. The student will be working in a very close, team oriented environment, and therefore should be able to work well and communicate with fellow Engineers and employees in several different departments.
