This exciting opportunity allows you to experience part of a team that aligns products and worldwide engineering and manufacturing capabilities to build our presence in a growing electrification space. Through basic fixture design, implementation of Lean tools, and other formal problem-solving techniques, you will take an active role in problem-solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s): • Verbal and written communication skills sufficient to produce written reports and provide fellow teammates constructive feedback on manufacturing and/or assembly procedures and techniques. • Computer proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Required Education and Experience: • Undergraduate student majoring in Industrial Engineering or Engineering Science. Preferred/Desired: • Completion of two (2) years of undergraduate schoolwork/Junior or Senior year student. Additional Requirements: • Proof of U.S. citizenship or US permanent residency required. • Ability to commute to/from assigned work location (relocation assistance is not provided).
