Co-Op - Quality (Summer 2025)

Main Project Support the establishment of a structured process for the team’s assessment and documentation, including creating process flows, process descriptions, and work instructions. Document the status of all ongoing projects (RGA) and develop a system for proactive and systematic information sharing with stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service Representatives, Quality, Logistic). Create and organize a project documentation database. Develop tools for systematic documentation of meeting highlights and filing of takeaways. Your Key Responsibilities Assist with quality processes related to trading goods, including warranty processes and RGA (Return Goods Authorization). Support goods receiving, incoming inspection, and managing complaints in alignment with Schaeffler Procedures and S-Spec requirements (QX codes, PPAP requirements, CSR, Management handbook). Collaborate in cross-functional teams to understand and streamline processes for quality improvements. Participate in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and ensure compliance with quality standards. Aid in developing a structured process for team assessments, implementation, and documentation (Process Flow, Process Description, Work Instruction).

 

Your Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Understanding of quality management systems and processes, preferably with knowledge of Schaeffler Procedures and S-Spec standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, quality management software) Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship Our Offering
