Position Summary:

This position is responsible for accepting and issuing guests coats and packages that are stored in coat check.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Maintains accurate records on the location of all coats and other items stored in coat checkAssists guests with wheelchairs and motorized scooter rentals, including paymentsRemains visible and ready to serve arriving and departing guestsGreets guests and offers assistance with their coat room needs

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures wheelchairs and scooters are clean and in proper working orderAssists guests with directions and property information, as neededMaintains a clean and organized work area

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious guest service experience

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Good written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational and multi-tasking skills

Training Requirements:

Knowledge of the proper procedures required for scooter rentalsSMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.Must be able to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
