POSITION SUMMARY: The Coating Operator’s primary function is to safely operate in the most productive and efficient
way in the section of the coater machine by applying all the skills learned in his/her training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
2. Must be proficient in performing all the duties of the Coating Operator Trainee as well as the following:
3. Must be able to operate and set up the coater without supervision.
4. Understands and follows the MOP’s for each job.
5. Makes sure all static and environmental related issues are in place and in order.
6. Adhere to all specifications and schedules.
7. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by his/her supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. The Coater Operator should have the ability to communicate in English and preferably have a high school diploma.
2. The job duration is 40 hours per week. Shifts are both during the day and evening hours depending on assignment.
Overtime as required.
3. The general physical requirements are standing and walking on concrete at least 10 hours per day. Some lifting (up to
50 lbs), climbing, pushing and pulling is also required.
4. The job is indoors where smoking is forbidden.
5. Protective equipment such as safety shoes are required 100% of the time, and other protective equipment is required
as necessary. All safety equipment is provided.
6. The use of small hand tools may be required on occasion.
7. The job also requires the ability to drive a forklift
COMPENSATION: 21/hr
