Coating Technician
**Job Title: Coating Technician** **Job Description** The Coating Technician will be responsible for various steps in the electrode manufacturing process to create high-quality anode and cathode electrodes. The technician will primarily oversee the electrode coating processes, including machine start-up, loading the machine with coating mixture, troubleshooting process issues, conducting in-process quality checks, ensuring finished product quality, and maintaining documentation. Eventually, this person will become a subject matter expert in the roll-to-roll process of slot die coating. **Responsibilities** + Understand process capabilities through design of experiment and data analysis. + Develop and optimize process conditions for new materials, recipes, and designs. + Lead new process development from validation at pilot scales to scale-up in mass production. + Drive a multi-functional team to solve technically complex problems using first principles and data-driven methodologies. + Operate and troubleshoot the coating machine. + Conduct quality checks on in-process and finished products. + Document all processes and outcomes accurately. **Essential Skills** + Machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience troubleshooting automated machines. + Responsibility for in-process and finished product quality in manufacturing. + Ability to stand on feet all day. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and bend, squat, lift as needed. + Steel-toed shoes. **Shift & Pay** + ,1st shift: Monday to Friday - 8 am to 4 pm. + $21-24 based on experience **Why Work Here?** This role offers tremendous learning and growth opportunities. The coating area, although the dirtiest due to the coating material, is still very clean.
