We are seeking a detail-oriented Coatings & Fireproofing Inspector to join a major LNG client at an LNG facility in Corpus Christi, TX. The ideal candidate will ensure that all coatings and fireproofing applications comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. This role is vital to maintaining the integrity and safety of plant assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of coatings and fireproofing materials to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards. Monitor surface preparation, material application, and curing processes. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports. Identify and report any deficiencies or non-conformities, ensuring prompt resolution. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure project timelines are met. Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Coatings Inspector (e.g., NACE or SSPC certification preferred). 3+ years of experience in coatings and fireproofing inspection, preferably in an LNG or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating application techniques. Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
