Job Title: Coatings Operator
Location: West Caldwell, NJ
Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:15 PM - 10:30 PM, Mon-Fri)
Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities: Operate and maintain coating equipment, ensuring efficient production. Perform machine setups, troubleshoot issues, and adjust tension settings. Execute various coating processes (knife over roll, reverse roll, gravure roll, strip coating). Calculate and maintain coat weights through gap adjustments and speed ratios. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble solution supply components. Document batch records and logbooks per cGMP and SOP guidelines. Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols. Retrieve and transport adhesives and coating solutions using a pallet jack. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment. At least 3 years of manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of cGMPs and SOPs. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
