SUMMARY:

The Lead Developer is responsible for implementing various activities throughout the systems development life cycle, primarily developing high-quality technology solutions that meet customer needs by the specified delivery date. This position's primary role is to lead the design, development and implementation of software solutions to enable the R&D department to meet/exceed genetic progress goals. The secondary role will be to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 

Responsibilities and duties 

Lead the design, development and implementation of software solutions using Microsoft technologies. Architect and develop microservices-based applications and APIs. Utilize Azure services extensively, including Azure monitor and supporting visualization tools for instrumentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting edge. 

 Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in a lead developer or similar role where leadership and advanced software development skills are displayed. Expert proficiency in C#, JavaScript/HTML/CSS frameworks, particularly vue.js. Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL server Extensive experience with Visual Studio and .NET frameworkStrong understanding of microservices architecture and web API development In depth knowledge of Azure compute/data services, including Azure monitor, Azure functions, app services, storage accounts, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills. 

Preferred Technical Proficiencies 

Development environments: Visual Studio 2022, VS Code, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI Report Builder. Languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowershellUI frameworks: Vue2, Vue3, WinFormsCSS frameworks: Vuetify 2, Vuetify 3, Bootstrap .NET stack development Database development
