2 yrs contract opportunity for a  Java developer who has strong COBOL and Mainframe Modernization experience desired.

The Candidate will join an Architecture team.
Position will include responsibility for overseeing application design deliverable's
for the Mainframe Modernization efforts or Internet Customer facing applications.

The candidate will provide solutions, input and guidance on application design deliverables
as well as enforce the use of best practices and standards defined and agreed upon across
multiple technology platforms.

Candidate will have a track record in recommending architectural solutions
as well as obtaining buy in and instituting processes resulting in successful application implementations.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years experience with Java/J2EE required.
-Strong experience with COBOL or Mainframe Modernization required.
-Java Architectural experience required.

-Solid understanding OOP and SOA.
-Proven track record in delivering successful projects.
-Must have 5 + years hands on design and development
-Excellent leadership skills and ability to work through others
