We are currently seeking a talented and motivated **COBOL Application Developer** for a Full-Time remote position. **Key Responsibilities:** + Analyze and maintain complex business systems using COBOL, VSAM, JCL, and related tools. + Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like VersionOne for effective project tracking. + Leverage IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow for issue tracking and resolution. + Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries in DB2 environments to support data operations. + Collaborate with stakeholders to design technical solutions tailored to business requirements. + Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support on development projects. + Ensure security best practices are followed, including the use of secure enclaves and data protection methods. **Required:** + Minimum of 3-5 years in Mainframe DB2, COBOL, and VSAM software development, with a strong focus on debugging and system optimization. + A four-year degree in the applicable field is preferred.
