Cobra Specialist

Responsible for assisting Paycom clients with ensuring all aspects of Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) are compliant with federal guidelines. Accountable for handling COBRA questions from clients as well as Principal Qualified Beneficiaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES       

Research, track and resolve customer’s or Principal Qualified Beneficiaries COBRA issues. Answer incoming calls and/or e-mails from customers or Principal Qualified Beneficiaries on a timely basis. Answer customer’s e-mail request within 10 minutes of receiving them. Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the Paycom COBRA system as well as a good understanding of the COBRA law.  Track Principal Qualified Beneficiaries monthly COBRA payments: Processes checks and ACH payments daily. Tracks the time frames to accept payments accurately. Records deposit amount and reconciles with our internal accounting team  Set up new COBRA customers in a timely manner Perform over the phone COBRA demos with clients Reconcile monthly COBRA Open Enrollment Process COBRA termination requests-daily Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Paycom personnel and management. Performs other duties as assigned
