Summary
Cocktail Servers are dedicated to serving the guests of Rolling Hills Casino. They provide hospitality on the Casino floor through friendly, attentive, prompt service of food and beverage items. They also assist in keeping beverage service areas cleaned and stocked throughout their shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Sell alcoholic beverages and food to guests, following RBS ABC guidelines Serve and refill complimentary beverages to guests Deliver food items to guests on the casino floor Clear away dirty dishes and glassware from occupied/or unoccupied bar tables Maintain a clean and stocked beverage station (Service Bar) Safely cut fruit garnishes for beverages Cleans and neatly stocks beverage stations with respective inventory Transport and change soda bibs throughout the casino Safely operate a dishwashing machine Operates, balances, and reconciles cash & credit card transactions, and follow proper procedures for closing and balancing till Able to maintain a positive and professional team atmosphere with fellow staff Relay any complaints, problems or positive remarks to Food and Beverage Shift Manager or Shift SupervisorRequirements
Minimum 21 years of age Hepatitis B shot Slip resistant shoes

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be at least 21 years of age and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Must show the ability to work under team management approach. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Must have basic computer aptitude and excellent customer service skills. Must complete and pass testing for California Responsible Beverage Service certification within 60 days of hire.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission. RBS ABC certification as trained at Rolling Hills Casino. Must obtain Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino.
