Position Summary

\n

Code Enforcement plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction inthe context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary withdesignated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties formaintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. This role also administers the architectural review process.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

\n\nNotify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person andelectronically.\nRespond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity ofcomplaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.\nInvestigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.\nSchedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieveminimum property standards.\nReceive owner architectural submittals.\nReview submittals for accuracy in accordance to the association architectural guidelines.\nAttend the architectural review meeting with the community manager.\nFollow up with any committee direction.\nComplete the meeting minutes and owner letters.\nOther duties as assigned.

\n\n Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

\n\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures and forms.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nKnowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements.\nKnowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings at a proficient level.\nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.\nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).\nProfessional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.\n\n

Education and Experience

\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\nAssociates Degree Preferred\n0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience\n\n

Licenses and Certifications

\n\nMust have a reliable vehicle and be able to provide proof of a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance.\n\n

Working Conditions

\n\nTypical office environment, occasional outside environment exposure while conducting compliance inspection.\n\n
