Job Description

\n

A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with
designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for
maintenance, landscaping, compliance with property standards including aesthetics, conformity and accurately recording findings.

\n

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nNotify responsible parties of code issues given in writing, by phone, in person and
electronically.\nRespond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of
complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.\nInvestigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.\nSchedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to ensure compliance with property codes. \nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

High School Diploma or GED required.

\n

Must have a vehicle and valid State driver’s license.

\n

\n

Knowledge and Skills

\n\nKnowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of architectural plans and/or drawings. \nKnowledge of conflict resolution techniques. \nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). Professional customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\n\n

The employee is often required to sit in order to process information and conduct data entry activities. Travel to and from communities and office.
