Casual FIFO Project Role: Located at Tom Price Mine Site, WA. With potential for other project/outage work.  Competitive Rate: EBA Casual Rates $73.84 p/h Flat Rate.  Project Dates: Approximate 1st of March to 11th of March 2025.  Other Benefits: Flights form Perth, Camp accommodation provided. 

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for casual Coded Welders for a FIFO role located at Tom Price Mine Site in Western Australia. You will provide your expertise in maintaining fixed plant within a shutdown, project environment ensuring that work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard. 

ABOUT YOU 

Site Proficient: Hold an Australian recognised Trade Certificate with proven experience in 3F and 4F welds as well as working within a Shutdown, Minesite heavy industry environment.  Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.  Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.  Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (within 3 years validity). Must be clean shaven. Willingness to undertake a per-employment medical.
