Overview Full Time - Remote Position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Review, monitor, and control charge capture and documentation. Provide coding for specific billing groups (Evaluation/Management coding (E/M), consults, bedside procedures, inpatient services, etc.) Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management/Medical record Administration (RHIT/RHIA). Necessary Skills: 1. Ability to manage multiple priorities. 2. Ability to work independently. 3. Detail oriented. 4. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 5. Experience with medical management information systems and software. Required Licensure/Certifications: Coding certification required within one year of hire or transfer Preferred Licensure/Certifications: CPC Certification Required Experience: Less than one year Coding experience Preferred Experience: At least one year experience coding and billing E/M visits and outpatient procedures. Extensive experience in E/M coding preferred.
