GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES \n

Has overall responsibility at all sites within Terry Reilly to ensure that all clinician and coding staff is trained on the proper use and research techniques for CPT and ICD-10 coding and to ensure that patient visit, E\/M and diagnosis codes entered in the Practice Management are accurate and complete. \n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n\nCertified Professional Coder (CPC)\n3 years CPT and ICD coding experience.\nStrong medical billing background.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nStrong verbal communication and training\/presentation skills.\nCompetence with spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing (Word) programs\n\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nCertified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC)\nBilingual English and Spanish.\nPrevious supervisory or management experience.\n
