Position: Cold Chain Specialist Lead

Available Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Compensation; $28.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Cold Chain Specialist Lead is responsible for overseeing the receiving, inventory management, and distribution of customer temperature-sensitive finished goods. This position ensures compliance with temperature control regulations while managing storage and order fulfillment. Additionally, the Lead provides training to employees, maintains key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensures operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Validate and receive products from suppliers into inventory Stock products according to temperature requirements Perform daily inventory cycle counts and ensure accuracy Ensure storage locations and conditions meet compliance standards Pick, pack, and ship products following IATA compliance standards, using proper insulation materials to maintain temperature integrity Oversee and train warehouse clerks on proper cold chain handling procedures Review inventory supply against customer demand to ensure operational readiness Complete various customer requests and report any issues to management Provide professional and timely responses to internal and external inquiries Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in adherence to 5S standards Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

IATA Certification (1+ years of experience handling temperature-regulated and dangerous goods preferred) Omni will provide training and certification if needed High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience working in a warehouse and cold storage environment 1+ years of experience in team leadership Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and management
