Cold End Job Change Engineer/Craftsman - Days Barnsley Plant Role description

Carry out electrical set up, repair and maintenance on cold end equipment and contribute to efficient job changes.

Responsibilities: Comply with Company Health and Safety Procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and those around you Prepare cold end electrical equipment ready for the next job change to ensure that equipment meets specifications for the new job. Take part in job changes, setting up and adjusting cold end equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations during and after the job change Modify and adjust cold end equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations and minimise downtime. Communicate effectively with employees to maintain an effective well-informed team Carry out housekeeping as required in accordance with Company Hygiene Rules. Required skills / qualifications: Experienced Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer Set up Adjust Repair Dismantle/reassemble Diagnose faults Awareness of relevant computer systems: RIS, APS Cold End equipment faults Equipment Process Container Defects Understanding engineering drawings What we offer

Competitive salary based on Grade 7 of the harmonised pay scales; Salary min £33,000 - £37,122 max.

Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions 

Monday to Friday working with condensed hours where appropriate. 

26.5 days holiday + 8 statutory holidays
