\nThe Cold Room Lead Person oversees the daily load out process of the Cold Room.
\nFollow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nCoordinates with Distribution the placement of orders on trailers with specific instructions regarding departure times, handling and loading procedures\nCoordinates with the Plant Supervisor any production needs and projected time frames\nBuilds truck loads within the DMS system to be released to the pick lanes for shipping\nEnsures quality products and packages are being shipped with good manufacturing practices\nDelegates work assignments to 8 - 25 subordinates and maintains the work flow process\nWorks as acting supervisor to the Cold Room, Case Dock, ESL Shipping, and Repack when the lead person, supervisor, or manager in each respective department when is off duty or not available \nOther duties may be assigned\n\nQualifications:
\n\nAssociate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMust be computer literate with basic skills in Word, Excel and DMS\nMust be willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays\n\nCorporate Summary:
