Role Definition
Determine and execute the steps necessary to properly perfect our security interest on all financed equipment in Canada and ensure all reporting is updated in a timely manner. Duties will be conducted in English and French.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to conduct searches in compliance with credit conditions and thoroughly review results to identify existing General Security Agreements (GSA) or encumbrances.
Demonstrated ability to ensure a secured portfolio through determining the appropriate steps necessary to perfect our security interest including reviewing credit conditions, filing timely and accurate UCCs/PPSAs/ RDPRMs, evaluating PMSI eligibility and determining the need for lien searches and subordinations.
Demonstrated ability to ensure Collateral Services-related credit conditions are met and that accurate collateral information is filed. Ensures proper verbiage is used on all filings. Resolves filing rejections with vendor.
Demonstrated knowledge of collateral securitization importance and ability to communicate the validity of the request to achieve the desired outcome from external and internal.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships, working effectively with others inside and outside of the company.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage numerous tasks with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated ability to manually generate accurate documentation for required Subordination/No Interest Letters.
Demonstrated ability to pursue and obtain Subordination Agreements from other lenders/creditors.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and think creatively to resolve challenge.
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired.
Bilingualism
Bilingual proficiency in French is required – verbal and written.
