Collateral Svc Specialist IV

The National Collateral Management Group (NCMG) is responsible for managing the deposit account collateralization requirements of JPMorgan Chase Bank and its customers as required by federal, state, and local regulations. NCMG manages collateral in excess of $40 billion consisting primarily of U.S. Government Treasury Securities, Agencies, Mortgage-Backed Securities and Federal Home Loan Bank Letters of Credit - all of which secure deposit account balances and other obligations. Multiple lines of business are supported by NCMG - primarily the Commercial Banking (CB) and Community & Consumer Banking (CCB).

 

This role will be focus upon the key tenants of Wholesale Lending Services (WLS), Collateral, Documentation and Insurance (CD&I) Group, as it relates to the National Collateral Management Group (NCMG) End-to-End Workflow, Collateral Completeness and Digital Experience.  This role ensures that the NCMG operations are aligned to support our LOB partners, clients and WLS’s framework and goals. 

Primary functions for this non-exempt/overtime eligible role include, but not limited to: 

Monitoring the National Collateral Management Group (NCMG) One Margin Corporate Collateral Management (CCM) System for client and settlement transaction, processing pledge, release, substitution notifications,  Processing statements, and other necessary documentation for certain collateral transactions  Ensure all end-of-day responsibilities are complete, work over-time as required Excellent Client Service skills – periodic client and custodian contact  Responsible for providing back-up and production support performing reporting, reconciliation, wire processes, and system conversions This role will include management of small projects designed to improve the BAU processes and enhance the experience of our clients Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure Ability to work under own initiative Ability to develop solutions and help implement Requires in-depth understanding of methods, systems, and procedures gained through significant hands-on experience and/or formal training/education Accountable for targeted job specific skills and requirements

Qualifications: 

Requires either some college related education or banking experience Ability to comprehend and work within multiple systems Securities settlement knowledge preferred Proficient in Microsoft products (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS) Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to complete complex reconciliations and resolve issues that may arise Excellent client service skills. Strong communication skills, verbal and written, both with internal bankers and clients Ability to work well within a team environment
